Would God allow a person to still be with someone they love but had sex with before marriage?

what if this person was a strong Christian, but they sinned and had sex with someone they loved before marriage, asked for forgiveness, recieved that forgiveness, and the two lovers repented and decided to focus on honoring God then on, would God still let these two people be with each other despite what they did?
