What are the best colored rubber worms and best color lures to use when bass fishing during summer in NJ?

i usually fish in murky to clear lakes with mucky bottoms i just need as much detail as i can get and color wise and if you want to throw in some pointers about lure types and even bringing it in (like to jig or not to jig) that wouldnt hurt...im no rookie i can catch bass just pointers and tips never hurt, thanks
